A photographer in Haiti is running a workshop and charges attendees $4000. He claims the workshop teaches photographers how to work and shoot in a disaster zone.
The photographer received more than 60 hate mail type responses in his blog entry, which he quickly deleted. Good thing Google chaches everything.
Wired Magazine wrote an article about this, [...]

This seems to have a good discussion about the rights of photographers in public.
While I respect the photographer’s advocacy, I believe he went there with the intention of being confronted. I don’t know about you guys, but I generally don’t go out shooting with a hidden camera.
I understand that while the cop was just there [...]

This is a mid-late 80's interlocking Jollibee train set that came along with their kiddie meals.

My sister found this last week. I may have played with a couple of them because of the grime and dirt; but I'm not entirely sure if I even got to play with these at all because some of them were still sealed.

I decided to take a picture of these in all its glory -- grime, dust, dirt and all for posterity's sake. Washing these might take the paint off or something.

Light info: 1 light camera right and a small white card fill on the left. shot at F/16, 1/160, ISO100

I find it funny how 2 art students would win a photojournalism contest and then reveal that all the pictures that they submitted were staged. The British Journal of Photography writes about it here.
What I find interesting here is that the winners studied the winning pieces and photojournalism’s cliches. I know that this would probably [...]

Looks like Olympus is catching up with the market. The Olympus E-P1 (Digital Pen) seems like it’s one of the most advanced point-and-shoot cameras so far.
Advantages of this over other leading non-dSLRs in the market is the interchangeable lenses, this uses the same sensor as some of their dslrs, HD video capture, multiple exposures, and [...]
